Bianchi USA launches the new e-Omnia collection

The main focus of the event was to showcase the new e-Omnia eBike collection of bikes which was prominently displayed throughout the museum with an extensive display of Ferraris and other exotic Italian cars serving as the backdrop. The FX Type is a full suspension model with a top speed of 20 MPH, 29 “wheels, disc brakes and an innovative gravity-cast aluminum frame structure that allows Bianchi to integrate lights into the frame for front and rear lighting. Lights remain functional for 2 hours even if the battery is depleted from regular driving. The FX model will cost around $ 7,500 and should be available in the fall.


The Type T is a front suspension model with a top speed of 28 MPH (Class 3), disc brakes, a suspension seat post, the same innovative gravity cast aluminum frame process that will be delivered in a standard top tube and a mid-stage top tube, more inclined configuration. The system integration includes a welded rear rack that can support child carriers, panniers and of course the same innovative integrated lighting system. The Bosch battery has a safety key which is paired with an Abus locking system which also locks the bike using the same key for both systems. The range allows up to 65 miles, depending on driving style and power mode selection. Finally, the bike also meets the European ID54 waterproof standard to make the bike work in all weather conditions. The Type T will retail for around $ 6,000 and is available in small, medium, and large sizes with models arriving in late July.


Type C has the same characteristics as Type T but has a frame and saddle with rubber bumpers for more comfort, handlebars tilted backwards for a more upright riding position, a crutch and a suspension seat post. It shares all of the other racks, lights, motors, batteries, and features like the Type T model and comes in small, medium, and large sizes and will cost around $ 5,700 and is expected to arrive in August.
