Over 65% of people who took a MakeMyTrip travel portal survey from August 15 to September 15, were actively looking for international flights and hotels, while 87% of those surveyed and aged 30-35 showed more enthusiasm to travel abroad before. the year ends. “As restrictions on cross-border travel ease in some countries, travelers are weighing several parameters when researching and planning trips. 54% of those surveyed indicated that travel regulations, including quarantine guidelines, were one of the main reasons for screening a destination, ”a spokesperson for MakeMyTrip said.

Vipul Prakash, COO of MakeMyTrip, said: “On MakeMyTrip, recent searches for flights and hotels to destinations open to Indian travelers indicate high demand as the holidays and winter break approach. .

MakeMyTrip said that according to its latest research and flight bookings, travelers are increasingly comfortable booking travel 30 to 60 days in advance of travel date. “Advance bookings for international travel currently represent 40% of overall international flight activity on the platform,” the spokesperson said.
